Short answer: the RedotPay virtual card costs 10 USD and the physical card
100 USD, paid once when the card is issued. With a 20% coupon that becomes about
8 USD (code REDOT) or 80 USD (code REDOTCODE).
After that you pay small percentage fees only when you use the card.

Ongoing cost: usage fees
RedotPay's fee page lists these card fees (checked 5 Oct 2026). No coupon reduces them.
1% crypto conversion: when your crypto balance is converted to pay.
1.2% currency fee: when the purchase is in a different currency from the card.
2% ATM fee: physical card; USD cards pay 3% on withdrawals above 10,000 USD in a month. The ATM owner may add its own charge.
1.5% at certain listed merchants: minimum 0.50 USD, with the first three such payments each month waived.
No monthly or annual fee appears on the published list.
Three worked first-year examples
These are illustrations built from the official percentages, not measured bills. Assumptions: the 1% conversion applies to everything you spend or withdraw, and the coupon gives the full 20% off.
The traveller example shows the main point: after the first month, usage fees, not the card price, drive the cost. Saving 20 USD with REDOTCODE helps, but spending in the card's own currency and taking out fewer, larger ATM withdrawals matter more over a year.
Start with the virtual card and REDOT; most online spending never needs plastic.
Use REDOTCODE only when you really need the physical card.
If you are new, the 5 USD signup link gives spend credit for 30 days after activation (not usable on the card fee).
Check that RedotPay issues cards where you live. Its 28 Aug 2026 restriction list includes the US, India, mainland China, Singapore, Indonesia, Turkey and others.

FAQ
Is the RedotPay card free?
No. RedotPay charges a one-time issuance fee: 10 USD for the virtual card and 100 USD for the physical card. A 20% coupon (REDOT for virtual, REDOTCODE for physical) lowers that to about 8 or 80 USD.
What is the cheapest way to get a RedotPay card?
Order the virtual card and apply coupon REDOT at checkout, for about 8 USD. Add the physical card later only if you need in-store or ATM use.
Does RedotPay charge a monthly fee?
RedotPay's published fee list shows no monthly or annual card fee. You pay percentage fees when you spend: 1% crypto conversion, 1.2% for payments in a different currency than the card, 2% ATM (USD cards 3% above 10,000 USD per month) and 1.5% at certain listed merchants.
Can I pay the card fee with the 5 USD signup reward?
No. RedotPay says the 5 USD reward cannot be used for the card issuance fee; it is spend-only for 30 days after activation.
